Thursday and our first day of electronic (embedded systems technology) class lab.

Today Rod captured on the camera Jean helping teach English.  And Jean later captured the interest and enthusiasm of the students as Rod guided them on how to build and test breadboards.  We were surprised to discover the school did not have power supplies or multi-meters.  Fortunately Rod brought his multi-meter and he came up with a creative workaround for a power supply.  But we could not test every team's breadboard in one lab period with just one multi-meter.  Well, we are reminded to be creative and flexible and do our best.

It was a full, warm day with even sleepier students to teach, but rewarding.  We are getting better with remembering their English names.  Rod does not teach on Fridays so it was so nice to go home to the hotel to eat our take-away dinner and NOT have to dive right back into lesson preps for tomorrow. We also stopped at the campus bakery and bought some wonderful fruit--mangoes and pineapple!
