Transportation and shops on our walk to campus

As said earlier, just crossing the street from our hotel toward the prison can be quite the challenge.  There is only a zebra stripe and you have to watch for bikes and scooters in a special lane along the sidewalk and then there is LOTS of traffic both directions of the road--many large trucks, taxis, some cars, buses!  Here are some photos

 

This is the interesting narrow street connecting

So fascinating to see these hardworking people laying bricks/mixing cement.
